The Tuatara from SSC is slated for production!. No longer thought of as simple vaporware - the 1300+hp supercar is aiming for a 2016 appearance
-funding problems set the production back last year but have since been resolved - the new plant will be located in West richmond Washington and be about 40000 sq feet
production slated to be about 30 cars and a year and roughly a dozen have been ordered so far with deposits placed for the 1.3 million dollar car
- engine specs are a custom TT V8 (made with NRE ) putting out 1350 hp and 1270 torques on reg go go juice.

estimated numbers are ; 0-60 : 2.5sc, top speed 276 (estimated)

Still weird that they named it after a reptile (not a lizard but looks like one) who are extreme slow. Even my (russian) tortoises are quite fast compared to tuataras when they get excited. Tuataras are still awesome.

please please please please actually corner and brake and not break. I don't want this to be another Hennesey built to go for really long drag races and be good for little else.
